SuperMap: Reveal Map and Enemies At Start

What is SuperMap?

SuperMap is a Doom 2 mod that reveals the entire map, including all enemies, items, and map geometry, in the automap from the very start of the game. 

This addon is perfect for players who want to focus on hunting down demons without the frustration of not knowing where they are.

What is it for?

SuperMap is designed for players who enjoy the action-packed gameplay of Doom 2 and want to skip straight to the combat. By revealing the entire map and all enemies from the start, you can concentrate on ripping and tearing through demons without any surprises. 

It's also useful for debugging purposes if you're making a mod and want to see what's going on with your projectiles, gibs, objects, etc.

How to Use SuperMap Ingame

SuperMap is a universal addon that can be used with almost any other mod or mapset. Simply load it alongside your other mods, and the entire map will be revealed in the automap from the start.

• Enemies: All enemies will be shown on the automap, allowing you to plan your attacks and hunt them down efficiently.
• Items: All items will be visible, helping you collect power-ups and weapons without missing any.
• Projectiles and Objects: Useful for debugging, as projectiles, gibs, and other objects will show up on the automap as triangles.

Customizing the Automap

As a hint, you can change the colors of the automap elements to enhance your experience:

• Make enemies RED
• Make items GREEN
• Make trigger lines WHITE

This makes for a much better and more focused action experience, allowing you to skip straight to the good parts of Doom 2 gameplay.
