Kill Confirmer is a tiny HUD enhancement addon for Doom 2 that provides a quick confirmation message whenever you score a kill. This mod is designed to be simple and functional, ensuring you always know when an enemy has been eliminated.

Features

• Kill Confirmation: A brief text appears on the HUD whenever a monster dies, no matter the cause.
• Useful Information: Ideal for situations where an enemy is far away, behind a corner, or dies indirectly (e.g., infighting, crushers, barrels).
• Ammo Conservation: Helps you conserve ammo by confirming kills, especially useful with rapid-fire weapons.

Versions

KillConfirmer Simple.pk3

• Simple and functional. Shows a small, subtle green '-kill-' message at the top center of the screen for a brief second.

KillConfirmer Oscar Mike Joke Edition.pk3

• A humorous parody of Call of Duty. Flashes a huge message saying 'OSCAR MIKE TANGO DOWN' each time you kill someone.

Note: Use only one version at a time to avoid conflicts or errors.

Compatibility

• Works with any other HUD mod, gameplay mod, or any other mod.
• Compatible with GZDoom, Zandronum, and other sourceports that support ACS scripts.

How to Use In-Game

Simply load the mod in your preferred sourceport, and it will automatically display kill confirmations as you play. Choose between the simple version for a subtle experience or the joke edition for a bit of fun.
